Hudson River Yoga’s Teacher Training will give you the tools you need to be an effective and confident practitioner, and yoga educator. We believe that when you invest in education, you are investing in yourself, which is why we have worked to create a program that honors your time and investment, in a format that allows for knowledge integration and self study. Let’s be honest - learning new things takes time! In HRY’s program, you will have the space to learn and grow naturally over the course of one to two weekends a month. (Dates TBA)
Becoming a successful Yoga Educator involves more than just learning names and basics of poses. In addition to an education of Asana (poses), we will cover each facet of the 4 Yogic formulas: Asana - in depth alignment, anatomy, biomechanics, and principles, accessibility and variations. Meditation, Philosophy, and Pranayama. Each provides skills that open avenues for self-reflection and self-improvement. Honoring context and history, we will study the Bhagavad Gita, and the Yoga Sutras, along with other reading and materials which offer a robust exposure to the very best in modern yoga practice. By engaging in and with yourself, and with others similarly seeking holistic wellbeing, our program brings you an unmatched richness of yoga immersion and education.
Our trainings are guided by Hudson River Yoga Director Susannah Grange, E-YT 500, and bolstered by skilled guest teachers.
