I was pleasantly surprised to PREFER zoom classes with Hudson River Yoga over going to the studio in person. I thought, how can I get the same attention when I am in a pose if I am not in the same room? I was amazed how intuitive Susannah was, verbally describing what we were doing and since she could see what we were doing, she was able to recommend adjustments. I find myself taking more classes than I ever had before - from my home!

I love the live stream classes at Hudson River Yoga! They are fun, interactive, and encourage you to challenge yourself. I already feel stronger, centered, and more flexible.
I really like how Susannah tailors her instruction to the needs and interests of the class. She offers variations for each pose so that it works for you, whatever your experience level or physical challenges that day.

Susannah really listened to my concerns and needs. During our private session, she tailored the class specifically to help me build strength back after an injury, without overdoing it. Her insights helped me rethink my regular yoga practice and specific approaches to alignment to continue getting stronger.

I had assumed yoga was something outside of my comfort zone, something I wouldn’t grasp until I took a class with Susannah. Her focus on alignment, love for anatomy, and modifiable approach to yoga gave me the confidence I needed to make yoga a part of my weekly routine. If you think, I am not spiritual, this isn’t for me. Or. I won’t get the work out I need while confined to a mat. I challenge you to give Hudson River Yoga’s intro offer a shot. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Caring and kind instructors doing their best over the past year on Zoom to provide a variety of classes for different strengths, providing structure and a sense of 'community.' Even though we are apart we are together.
